CHI replaced five existing direct fired vaporizers with a combined capacity of 138 MMSCFD with two new remote heated shell and tube vaporizers each with a cpacity of 125 MMSCFD.  The new vaporization system consisted of two 125 MMSCFD vertical shell and tube vaporizers, three 1800 water/glycol circulating pmps, three 1500 BHP water glycol heaters, a meter and vaporizer building, heater building, spill impoundment system, instrumentation and control system, odorant injection system, fire and gas detection system, motor control center, and sprinkler systems for the buildings.
